MANUAL THERAPY

  • Joint Mobilizations
  • Soft tissue massage
  • Myofascial Release
  • Manual Traction

DRY NEEDLING

  • Technique using thin filiform needles, that penetrates through skin into muscle, fascia, connective tissue to elicit "twitch" response in the muscle
  • The twitch response allows for relaxation of the muscle and deactivation of trigger points (muscle knots)
  • Dry needling allows for quicker response to increasing ROM, flexibility and reduction of pain
  • Soreness may occur for 24-48 hours

CUPPING THERAPY

  • Cupping is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for suction
  • The suction allows for neural tissues, fascia, skin, ligaments, muscles, and tendons to loosen more easily.
  • Cupping works by relaxing muscles, releasing trigger points, stimulating lymphatic flow, increasing local circulation, and releasing scar tissue adhesion

KINSIO TAPING

  • Rock tape's unique elasticity causes the skin to form convolutions and wrinkle. This decompresses the tissue immediately below the skin.
  • Improving blood and lymphatic flow in the taped area, slide/glide between tissue and altering perception of pain.
  • Taping can be used for Posture, pain, inhibition, swelling, and more

THERAPEUTIC EXERCISE

  •   Movements and physical activities designed to restore function, increase ROM and flexibility, improve strength and decrease pain

NEUROMUSCULAR RE-EDUCATION

  • Exercises will improve balance, coordination, and proprioception
